We invite you to join the WOGO team in participating in 2017’s #GivingTuesday campaign in support of our efforts to restore mobility in developing nations, including our April 2018 trip to Cuba and a return to the Democratic Republic of Congo to continue our joint replacement surgeries there.
This year, WOGO’s campaign is #Cargo4WOGO. You can sponsor pounds of cargo to help us continue our mission to provide life-changing joint replacement surgeries. We ship more than 9,000 pounds of cargo for each medical mission, and this is one of the largest costs of each trip. On #GivingTuesday, November 28, 2017 and all during this holiday season, you can take part! The campaign will be open from 11/21/17 through 1/1/18.
In its sixth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season.
