Kim Tucker, MD, is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arizona in Tucson, specializing in hip and knee arthroplasty. She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, then completed her Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the same institution. She pursued an arthroplasty fellowship with Dr. David Dalury in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Tucker’s interests include health and gender disparities in orthopaedic surgery. She is active in AAHKS Women in Arthroplasty and produces and hosts the Journal of Arthroplasty podcast, The Cut. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, cycling, and raising her two tweens.
